Meet The Team
Having grown up in remote Queensland, with limited access to holistic medicine, Jaimie knew her purpose was to learn, share and empower women to explore alternative healing modalities and establish ways in which they could also understand and implement tools to encompass the power of mind/body medicine. Jaimie has achieved this by way of creating her own wellness studio in which she currently practices many body work modalities as well as facilitates a hub for women of our rural Community to participate in workshops and events. The space has evolved as a collective space which has allowed her to mentor other women into their journey of self discovery and business success.
Jaimie is passionate, empathetic and extremely driven to ensure that we as women are celebrated for our divine femininity and will continue on her own path of healing, personal and professional development to advocate this for others.
Her legacy will enable rural women to feel loved, supported and empowered to stand in their own truth regardless of geographical hurdles and provide a safe space for them to grow and learn how this can be achieved.
Meghan has been hairdressing for 10 years. Having trained under Karen Banks, one of Warwick's most accomplished business women in the industry, Meghan firmly believes that this has laid the platform for the successes and milestones of owning her own studio.
Meghan took a small career break once completing her apprenticeship and shortly found herself back in the industry a year later once she discovered that is where her passion was.
Meghan and her fiance Ty purchased their little slice of paradise in Allora in 2019 - a very sentimental purchase given that Allora was the very town that raised both her Grandfather and Father. She loves the 'little country town' feeling and knows in her heart that Allora will remain her home for many years to come.
Working amongst a collective of like minded women has enabled Meghan to broaden her collaborations and work with specialised massage and beauty therapists - important to making sure that women are being of service to the community of Allora and that the community can receive these services without the need to travel long distances.
Meghan offers a broad range of services from women's cuts, colours, styling, men's and children's cuts. She offers wedding/formal packages on location and within the studio.
Meghan continues to immerse herself in the modern industry trends as well as specifically tailoring her services to meet the needs of her clients. She prides herself on giving each client a professional and relaxed experience each and every time.
Having grown up in Allora on Queensland's Southern Downs, Alana completed her Graphic Design and Prepress trade in 2012. Alana's passion for art and creativity pointed her in the direction of a trade that was far from inside the box. Having taken time off since completing her trade, Alana has travelled the world, using vast countryside and historic and modern international design concepts to bring her back to her home town. From these adventures, Alana returned home permanently in 2018 and started her own Graphic Design business - Silver Gum Graphic Design.
Alana's fine eye for detail has seen her conceptualise and bring to life the design concepts for the Collective, as well as the website, stationery and all media release graphic content. It is through her passion for collaboration and her understanding of trending concepts, that Alana has been able to create such a powerful product for the Collective. Alana gets a great sense of accomplishment by being able to bring people's ideas to life and create branding that best represents what the client is trying to achieve.
Alana is exploring further study aspirations surrounding website design and sign writing and very much looks forward to continuing her love and passion for her design work in a community that she is very passionate about.
